Now What?

Because Coley spends most of her time with our chocolate lab Bogey, she now thinks she is supposed to act like him. What is a mother supposed to do? I cant stop laughing.

Lake Time

popsicles and muffins

Coley's mom mom sure does know what makes her happy. I walked in to this. She had her first popsicle right after she finished her first muffin. I think I know why all the grandkids love to go to her house :)she also loves to play patty cake. only she likes to do it with her feet!

Crawling and Talking

Coley is crawling all over the house. She started about a week and a half ago. She is cracking us up b/c she looks more like our dog crawling than a baby. She stick her butt up and goes on the feet. She is also making a "oof" sound as she goes. My mom says she has spent too much time with Bogey and thinks she is a dog. She is also saying all kinds of words now including: duck, dada, dog, doll, this and that. She is getting really good at the d words. If you say something enough she will repeat you.

Coley's First Beach Trip

Coley went to the beach for the first time when we went to St. Simons Island Mothers day weekend. Our friends the Ashley and Wes came too and brought their little boy Tucker. Coley and Tucker entertained each other so much on the beach just sitting in their red wagon and taking toys from each other. I think we will have to bring Tucker to the beach with us every time.

7 months and several firsts

Coley has been doing all kids of firsts lately. She had her first cookie, got in the pool for the first time, pulled up by herself, and said her first word. She has been saying dadadadada a lot lately but says it to whoever is around. On the morning of her 7 month bday we were playing in the bed and she was beating on her daddy's chest. Chandler & I were saying boom boom boom and she said "boom". She said it a couple more times. She is so close to crawling. She can go in circles and can go backwards too.
